GS290 themes

Hallo,
it´s great idea to start a forum for this nice litte cellphone .
Now my problem:
i`ve done the tutorial to hack the gs290

I came to point 19 and then i want to do AQA´s . He wrote following:


Your downloaded theme will usually contain a folder called "dmf", or sometimes just a bunch of files (just like in the picture above). If the theme contains a bunch of files, extract ALL of them into one folder, for example "dmf". When the extraction is done, open up the folder where you extracted all the files. Select all the files and drag it into the "dmf" folder in WinImage. When it's done, save CUST_THEME by pressing CTRL + S. Now close WinImage.


But i have no theme to copy it into the dmf folder. Is it in the download, i took all the parts, they descript in the post.

So u want to change the default theme rite?

When u open the CUST_THEME file in Win Image.
1, Download the following filesi idle_widget.dmf file under LGAPP\DMF & TopMenu.dmf under \LGAPP\DMF\TopMenu.
2, Decompress the DMF files & convert to swf file using LG UI.
3, u can edit the SWF file &now convert DMF.
4, put the files in cust_theme.
5,Send the cust_theme file to ur mobile.

I have done first two steps, now i'm editing the swf file.

the main thing is, that i want to unlock the phone, my son want to use another phonecard.
the first two steps are too much for my old brain
What is LG UI and how do I convert?
Sorry about the "stupid" qusetions, but this is the first time, i try to do this....

To unlock GS290.

use gs290.flb instead of kp500.flb.
